Security Supervisor

Security Supervisor
The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising security personnel and ensuring effective security operations across an assigned site, facility, property, or organization.
The successful candidate will coordinate Security Guards, monitor security procedures, review incidents, manage shift operations, inspect assigned areas, and communicate security concerns to management.
This position is suitable for experienced security professionals with strong leadership, communication, observation, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Security Guards and security personnel.
- Organize daily security duties and shift assignments.
- Conduct regular security inspections and patrol checks.
- Ensure security posts are properly staffed.
- Monitor access-control procedures.
- Check visitor, employee, contractor, and vehicle access where required.
- Ensure security personnel follow site procedures.
- Review security logs and incident reports.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
- Coordinate appropriate responses according to company procedures.
- Report serious incidents to management promptly.
- Investigate basic security incidents and prepare reports where required.
- Monitor CCTV and security systems where applicable.
- Ensure restricted areas remain properly secured.
- Conduct regular checks of entrances, exits, gates, and other security points.
- Provide guidance and instructions to Security Guards.
- Train or brief security personnel on site procedures where required.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniforms, and professional conduct.
- Coordinate with facility management and other departments.
- Maintain accurate security records and documentation.
- Ensure security equipment is available and maintained properly.
- Identify potential security risks and report them to management.
- Support emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of security information.

- Perform other security supervision duties assigned by management.
