Pipe Fitter

Pipe Fitter
The Pipe Fitter is responsible for installing, assembling, aligning, maintaining, and repairing pipes and related piping components in construction, industrial, commercial, and mechanical environments.
The successful candidate will work with pipes, valves, fittings, supports, and related components according to technical drawings, project requirements, and safety procedures.
This position is suitable for skilled trade professionals with practical pipe-fitting experience and the ability to measure, cut, align, assemble, and install piping systems safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble piping systems according to project requirements.
- Read and follow basic technical drawings and piping layouts.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare pipes for installation.
- Align and fit pipes, fittings, valves, and related components.
- Install pipe supports, brackets, and related structural components.
- Assemble piping sections and connections accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Prepare pipes for welding, joining, or connection.
- Work closely with welders during piping installation.
- Inspect installed piping for alignment and visible defects.
- Assist with pressure testing and system checks where required.
- Repair, replace, and maintain damaged piping components.
- Identify piping problems and report technical issues.
- Install valves, flanges, elbows, reducers, and other pipe fittings.
- Follow project specifications and installation procedures.
- Maintain pipe-fitting tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
