Salary: $800 – $1,200 / month Location: Malaysia

The Housekeeping Staff member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards across guest rooms, hotel areas, accommodation facilities, and assigned workspaces.

The successful candidate will clean and prepare rooms, replace linens and supplies, maintain common areas, report maintenance issues, and follow established housekeeping and hygiene procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and accommodation areas.
• Make beds and replace bed linens and towels.
• Clean bathrooms, floors, furniture, windows, and other room surfaces.
• Replenish guest room amenities and supplies.
• Remove waste and dispose of it according to company procedures.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, common areas, and service areas.
• Prepare rooms according to hotel or accommodation standards.
• Check rooms for cleanliness and presentation before completion.
• Report damaged furniture, fixtures, appliances, or maintenance issues.
• Handle cleaning products and equipment safely.
• Follow housekeeping schedules and assigned room lists.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
• Keep housekeeping storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
